Our Urban Farm in Livonia, Michigan
Edward and Angela started Blue Line Farms in 2018 when we bought our home, and began our business in 2020. Angela was born and raised in Livonia and really wanted to raise her family in the Livonia community.
Eventually, Eddie, and Angela found the perfect home - a colonial on over an acre with a 2 story barn. We figured this was the best of both worlds - staying in a city we love to raise our family and being able to have the animals we wanted!
After a lot of research, we added the first round of chickens in August 2019. Eight of them lived in our bathtub for weeks until we moved them into the barn! We added goats to the mix in November 2019; currently, we have 13 goats, 40 chickens, 3 ducks,, 2 pigs, 2 dogs, an indoor cat and 3 human kids.

On the farm we try and recycle or up-cycle as much as we possibly can. We have reused pallet wood to build our chicken coops and remnant wood pieces to build our animal stalls. We even recycled pumpkins after Halloween (it is a natural dewormer for the goats!)
In our online shop, we offer homemade goat milk soap, farm fresh eggs, and official Blue Line Farms t-shirts for purchase! Keep following our farm to stay up to date on all the farm happenings as well as any other items for sale in the future!
*Egg sales have been paused until spring 2023*
